I have been toying with the idea of installing a propane fridge/icebox on my teardrop, but the prices I have seen are way out of my reality ( 1000 bucks for a 50 quart fridge?..what are they thinking) Does anybody know of a US manufacturer or brand that may have them in stock/ production? ( Coleman doesn't ) also sizes matter, any good info will be appreciated.

You can not charge the battery using the battery with a power inverter, the only thing you'll do is draining it more, and the power inverter with the battery charger will be just like a giant resistor in the loop. Furthermore, you may burn the voltage inverter circuitry due to heat. Imagine trying to suck the water left at the bottom of a jug through a hose to fill the same jug completely...thats how electricity works. You must use an external power source to charge the battery.

It'll give great support to the skin, and it'll provide a barrier to condensation that usually forms under the skin, keeping it from getting into the insulation and possibly whatever type of headliner you install.
